Banner 2023 Q3 Production upgrades are scheduled for deployment on 12/02. To facilitate this, any Banner-related Appman jobs that remain incomplete will be halted at 08:00. Subsequently, all Banner-related applications will be temporarily unavailable during the deployment. The deployment process is set to begin promptly at 8:00 AM, with an expected completion time of 17:45. Following this, the environment will be open for testing, with stakeholder verification expected to conclude by 19:00.
Financial Aid has requested an urgent Banner upgrade, which has been successfully deployed in the FAID environment, thoroughly tested, and approved. We are scheduled to install and deploy this upgrade on Thursday, November 2nd, at 5:00 PM. The upgrade is expected to take one hour, and we anticipate that all work will be completed by 6:00 PM.

Oracle Exadata Database Maintenance 08:00 - 14:00
The Division of IT has scheduled maintenance for Oracle Exadata Databases. We will be performing scheduled maintenance on the production Oracle Exadata system. AppMan will need to be shut down during this maintenance window. There will be a short period of time at the end of the maintenance when the databases are completely shut down. If applications don't reconnect when the database comes back up, they will need to be restarted after the maintenance is complete.
All Banner Apps (Admin / BAM / BCM / BDM/ SSBs), uAchieve CSU and CSUP will be down during the maintenance period.

To ensure a smooth transition, please ensure that you have backed up all non-production work so that it can be reapplied after the cloning process. We anticipate that PPRD will be fully operational on 10/18 for regular use.
Admin Pages Maintenance 17:00 - 16:00 → Completed
An issue was discovered in the SWASINS Admin Page due to Q2 updates. A fix required a rebuild of the admin pages. While we are awaiting official release tags from Ellucian for the build, an experimental build has been deployed in BANTEST as a temporary solution.
